The Bible tells us to hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering because the One who promised is faithful. I want to show you a woman who lived that truth. She wasn’t famous. She wasn’t a prophet. She didn’t perform miracles. She was simply a woman with a quiet strength — a mother whose faith refused to quit. Her story begins in a small town called Shunem, where a simple act of hospitality would open the door to a promise from God that would change her life forever.

II. Receiving a Promise through Faith ( 2 Kings 4:11-17)

F. Galatians 6:9 & 2 Corinthians 5:7
G. It isn’t about the amount of your faith, it is about the power of His Word!
H. True faith is holding onto the promise even when circumstances and others around you tell you that there is nothing more you can do to revive that promise of God.
IV. Having Stalwart Faith can bring the Miracle (2 Kings 27-37)
A. When she gets to Elisha, she falls to the ground and clings to his feet.
B. At that moment she still refused to accept the death of God’s promise as the final word.
C. Once they arrive, Elisha did 3 key things:
1)Went in alone
2)Shut the door
3)Prayed
D. Faith brought life back to the Promise
E. A mother’s faith can resurrect what looks dead, whether a fading dream, lost children, broken families, failing marriages, uncertain futures, callings or whatever God had given them.
