What is Discipleship?
According to Webster's Dictionary, discipleship in the christian sense is the process of making someone become like Christ in every way.

Discipleship is relational.

Key person we look at in discipleship is Jesus Christ.

Luke 5:1-11 - The story of when Jesus calls Peter to follow him.

5 Key points to help mentor and disciple men.
1) Have a Heart of Discipleship- Jesus called each apostle personally to follow him.
Encourage, affirm, and edify.
Have and intense love and desire to mentor them.
2) Means to Disciple- teaching and wisdom.
Build up and see potential even in failures.
3) Goals of Discipleship- see them mature.
Don't mentor in a position of dominance.
Be a model of faith and allow them to see the balance of God's power in you.
4) Cost of Discipleship- Sacrifice time to spend with them.
Be transparent to see your faults and failures/
Take time to recharge.
Stay Humble and not about BIG numbers.
Effective as one-on-one/
5) Power of Discipleship- takes time and not always instant results.
Lead as a father to surpass your achievements.
Encourage and give opportunities to share.
Be LOUD and not timid.
